GLENNVILLE, GA (WTOC)- A fire Saturday night destroyed two homes and left five people in search of places to stay. According to the local chapter of the American Red Cross, the fire started at 509 Laura Street and spread next door.
Tay McMillan was not home and thought the first phone call was a prank. She knew the second call, from her father, was no joke.
"When I came back to town, all I saw was flames and smoke, everything was gone. Nothing could be saved," she said.
